Most electrolyte drinks are mostly sugar.

For example, the most famous name in sports drinks is so weak that it would take over 4 bottles of their drink to equal the amount of sodium in 1 serving of SALT Electrolytes.

If you drank that much you would ingest 115g sugar, and 480 calories of pure sugar.

Most electrolyte drinks have artificial colors to make them look pretty, but the chemicals used in these colorings have no place in the human diet.

The most widely distributed “electrolyte” or “sports drinks” on the market contain mostly sugar and very little of the electrolyte minerals they advertise.

For example, the most famous name in sports drinks is so weak that it would take over 4 bottles of their drink to equal the amount of sodium in 1 serving of SALT Electrolytes.

For potassium It would take 7.5 bottles to equal 1 serving of SALT Electrolytes. It doesn’t even contain Calcium, Magnesium, or Zinc.

Ingesting one type of electrolyte mineral by itself can create an imbalance. For example, if you eat a super salty food such as french fries, you may notice your fingers swell and your rings fit tight. Add a little potassium and this goes away. Sodium and Potassium work together. Calcium works together with Magnesium and Zinc. As a bonus Zinc assists with Iodine to help it absorb into your thyroid.

Remember, one without the other creates an imbalance. Insist that your electrolyte supplement have counterpart minerals.

We searched for pure fruit extracts. It was difficult to find a natural fruit extract that could be used in a dry powder mix, but we eventually found one.

We are super happy with the results. Natural flavor extracts create mild flavor profiles that taste like the fruit not like candy.
